Us humans ain’t nothing but pieces of grass. Figuratively, but also in a way, for real. Obviously we’re part of God’s creation, there are many different varieties, etc. It’s not that stuff I’m comparing though; it’s more of a cause vs. effect. I’m talking about burdens. Like grass, when burdens are placed on us, we can fall and crumpled on the ground. But nature shows us through the living grass that when that burden is removed (presumably by God), we can straighten back up again and resume life. Every time we receive pressure, we can either become stronger, or we can become weaker. It’s our choice. And there is always a choice. No burden is too big to prevent us from getting back up. Roll with the punches. Ride the wave. Have faith in God.
